August, 2009 Alcor Energy Solutions, LLC in cooperation with other contracted companies completed the successful installation and commissioning of a 1 Mw Altek Power Innovator AT1200. The installation was completed and in late July, 2009. The unit produced consistent reliable electrical power that was sent directly to the grid. The unit is installed in a co-generation package with the waste heat being used to provide heat for operations. The heat is used to dry the silica sand products produced by SASIL SA for the sale and manufacture of glass products. The waste heat and electrical sales are expected to save undisclosed amounts of energy costs for the SASIL Company. Alcor Energy Solutions, LLC will provide continued training and support for the project.
